Wedding Signs

As a family friend, I was beyond excited when Brandt and Sidnee got engaged. During their wedding planning they asked me to create the welcome sign for their wedding. Once we went through a few designs, they found one they wanted to use as their cocktail hour sign as well.

To Brandt and Sid,

First Drafts

At the beginning of the project, Sidnee sent me a few simple inspiration photos, and let me know the theme and colors for their wedding.

Theme: Elegant and Clean

Florals: Baby’s Breath, White Roses, and Greenery

She then gave me creative freedom to create the designs.

Edits

After sending them drafts of potential colors, fonts, and formats, I asked them to give me their top choices. From there we discussed potentially combining ideas from multiple drafts to create the final signs.

For their welcome sign, they chose Draft 1 with the date format from Draft 2.

For their cocktail hour sign, they chose Draft 3 without the date.

We also decided to use the fonts from Draft 3 on both the wedding sign and cocktail hour sign to create more cohesiveness between the two.
